The IGR Development Program is designed to provide DIY and independent artists with “Label Services” in the form of guidance, infrastructure, and support of a professional recording label. Our unique platform empowers artists to grow, develop, and achieve lasting success in their music careers. Working together with the artist, we create detailed release plans and guide our artists in executing the plans, ensuring every release maximizes its potential.

Our fees are reinvested directly into supporting our Development Artists and creating new opportunities for growth. The reality of today’s music industry is that achieving success requires financial resources. As an aggressive startup record label we bring decades of experience as musicians, artist managers, legal professionals, and business leaders. Unlike major labels, we operate with limited resources. Your support and our fees help us provide the infrastructure, support, and services required to help independent artists grow and thrive, now and in the future!
Our Artist Development Philosophy:
Our approach harkens back to a time when record labels nurtured young artists giving them space and time to create and release their best work. For the first time, Independent Artists now have access to the infrastructure, support, and direct services of a recording label while maintaining independence and ownership of their creative work.
True success is rarely instant — Success is built over time. We serve as the Artist’s “label team” to provide the services, support, and help for a long-term outlook!
How to Apply:
To apply, simply click the link below, provide the basic information, provide a link for our A&R Department to listen and hear your music (or upload an MP3) and submit your application. The process is fast and FREE, and there is absolutely no obligation to join.
What happens next? Our A&R Department reviews all applications submitted and will get back with you. If our A&R team selects you as a potential development artist they will reach out to you via email to setup an in-person call (via Zoom) to discuss your music and determine if we are a good match to work together. If we are a good match, we will extend an invitation to join the development program.
If you accept our offer for a development deal you will gain access to personalized support and label services including: A&R consultations, Branding Development and Marketing Guidance; Release Planning and Distribution with a Custom Release Plan; Targeted Promotional Campaigns; Business and Legal Guidance; and in-person communications guidance for your release and project.

Our “Label Services” provide the direct services and support structure of major record labels only for DIY and Independent Artists tailored to fit their budgets. Success in the music industry is built on relationships and as we collaborate with our artists we are better equipped to guide their career development and growth. In the relationship-driven music business, as our label grows, the connections and relationships we cultivate open new doors and create even greater opportunities for all of our artists!
Artist & Repertoire (A&R)
Artist & Repertoire (A&R) is at the heart of what we do. A&R is more than just reviewing and evaluating songs— it’s about guiding our artists to define and develop your unique brand and developing it across all channels. With our A&R services, our artists gain a fresh perspective and invaluable professional industry insights into your music and identity, helping our artists to refine, strengthen, and elevate your music and your identity as an artist.
Distribution Services
We partner with platforms like TuneCore and DistroKid to distribute our artists’ music to all major streaming and online sales outlets. In addition, we feature music directly on our website and are continuously exploring new distribution and promotional channels to expand our artists’ reach.
Release Planning
Written Release Plans are critical to effective releases. To develop a release plan requires reviewing and developing strategies customized and tailored for the artist. We develop personalized release plans and strategies, working closely together in implementing and executing the plan, holding our artists accountable for their role and responsibilities, while at the same time proving our value by performing our roles and responsibilities. We provide step by step roadmap for each release. We create customized release strategies tailored to each artist, providing a clear, step-by-step roadmap for success. Our collaborative approach ensures accountability, with artists fulfilling their roles with dedicated support. Together, we implement and execute each release plan, driving each release toward its full potential.
Marketing Services – Release Strategy: A Step-By-Step Roadmap
We spend considerable time reviewing and diving into discovering our artists individual sound, story, and image, because this drives effective promotional and release planning. From our branding questionnaire and feedback and consultations, we seek to discover and assist our artists in developing their marketing brand in ways that work within the current music business and music landscape. We believe strongly in the concept of “niche” marketing, and we do not attempt to market head-to-head with the already hugely popular mainstream artists.
Promotion Services
It is critical to use limited financial and time resources in the most effective and imactful manner to create and grow awareness for our artist’s music across all media formats (social media, print, radio, and press). We offer two key promotional sources with each release plan, with additional accelerator services available upon request.
Social Media Campaigns
As a critical part of each release plan, we design targeted social media campaigns to build awareness and connect our artists with the right audience across all major platforms. Our campaigns go beyond generic – We take a strategic approach—carefully planning, targeting, and engaging each campaign to identify and engage potential fans who resonate with the artist’s unique sound, ensuring meaningful connections and lasting impact. With a strategic approach, we help amplify your presence online and grow your fanbase with campaigns designed to not only promote your music but to build a loyal and lasting fanbase.
Monthly Listeners: Spotify Streaming Campaigns
Our Streaming Promotions focus on connecting your music with listeners who resonate with and love your sound, turning casual streams into dedicated loyal fans. While Spotify is our primary focus, we also target and promote to playlist curators on Apple Music, Deezer, and other impactful platforms using customized Playlist Curator Ad Campaigns to amplify your reach, helping your music is heard by the right audience.
Business & Legal
We empower our artists with a free upfront business and legal primer guide to protect and safeguard their creative work and establish their business operations. For specific needs, our in-house attorney offers affordable consultations to provide tailored legal and business guidance to address specific legal and business needs and questions.
Creative Services
Audio (Mastering) Services Available. Additional Recording Studio Production & Mixing Services Available as an Add-On Service. From mastering to artwork design, and studio recording services, we can assist our artists with a full range of creative services to support to help artists prepare professional, commercial-quality releases.
