Born on the homelands of the Gila River Indian Community and the Tohono O’odham Nation, One Way Sky channel alternative rock and the resilience of their roots into a sound that’s raw, honest, and undeniable. As REZ kids stepping onto the stage, they finally get to tell their own story—to introduce who they are, where they come from, in and through their music. Their telling their story on their own terms, and the music speaks for itself—a living testament to their ancestors’ sacrifices and prayers.
Formed in 2019 by Adrian D Thomas, Cody Bruguier, Lomakoyva Manuel, and Damien Carlos, One Way Sky has always been about pushing forward with perseverance, no matter the odds. Their music carries the essence of the Arizona sky—the vibrant purples, pinks, and yellows of a desert sunset fading into the eternal night. The vastness of the Sonoran desert, the fire of the sun, the stillness of the night—it’s all woven into the rhythm, a manifestation of love, prayers, and an undeniable will to live.

RUSS WHITTEN (aka “Muddy Guns”) is one interesting cat! Muddy Guns & The Revival’s front man & guitarist, Russ Whitten, is a former ordained minister and traveling preacher turned blues-rock troubadour channeling the golden age of 70’s FM Rock Radio straight into the hearts of a new generation.
As a former mission worker in Eastern Europe and Africa, Russ has traveled the globe, lent his helping hands to the less-fortunate, lived in a treehouse in Africa for an entire year, battled and survived personal demons, and now, he’s bringing authentic rock & roll revival to the airwaves with the debut song – “She’s a Wildflower” – a soul-stirring anthem of freedom and resilience of a “prodigal daughter.”
Dripping with classic rock nostalgia and grit. This one’s got heart and vibe! With a sound that echoes Tom Petty, Joe Walsh, and Peter Frampton, Russ and the band blend soulful guitar licks, storytelling, melodic hooks, and road-worn wisdom into their music.
